Application Engineer / Machine Vision and Motion Control
Axis New England is a successful Automation Technology Center servicing the New England and Upstate New York markets. We have expertise providing robotic and motion control solutions. Our teams of automation engineers focus primarily on the semiconductor, electronic assembly, biomedical, fiber optic, and laser markets.
We are a growing company that is seeking a capable and knowledgeable Application Engineer to focus on machine vision and motion control applications. Candidates must posses a BS in Electrical, Electro-mechanical, or Mechanical Engineering.
Responsibilities include the following:
• Engineering support for new automation & motion applications
• Telephone and On-site customer support for newly installed components
• Application code development
• Technical support for our Sales Engineering group
• Product and presentation support of our seminar/workshop series
• Design support for System level projects
Candidates should possess strong technical and verbal / written communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a willingness to take initiative resolving problems.
